Why are Jews at the 'Holocaust Denial' conference?

Should these guys be lambasted for attending what has in the main, been promoted as an event that denies the holocaust or should they be commended for at least representing a Jewish view regardless of how narrow that may be?

Scanning the media, it seems most believe the conference to be a network of racists but the attendance of this small group of Orthodox Jews is a strange one. They have clearly stated they do not question the holocaust but believe the exploitation of it to justify the state of Israel as being against key Jewish teachings.

According to them, the Talmud teaches that believers may not use human force to create a Jewish state before the coming of the Messiah and therefore in the interests of lasting peace, should be dismantled.

Surely it's better to be part of the debate than just accuse these guys of treason?

Of course. We all love anti-Zionist Jews.

Even ignorance can be met with intelligence and knowledge.

Why not have a special squad of independent people to fight ignorance wherever it is propounded?

It's not like American never puts on a conference for propaganda purposes. I really think these guys are brave, but the point they make is lost: abused by the Iranian side and by the holocaust deniers, and abused by the west as well.

Truth sucks.

I saw a funny Jewish comedian the other day , he said.

"I want to use comedy to expose the ignorance of cultural stereotyping... because I hear there's good money in that!"

All extremists are by their very nature backwards thinking twats. They deserve each other.

Let’s not assume that the Jewish contingent at the conference didn’t have divergent, even conflicting views, just because they are all Jewish! Some of them do not deny the holocaust, but as Chairmanofthebored’s original posting says, it is about the rebranding of this most horrific of humanity’s crimes to justify the existence of Israel, that is the real issue here. On the other hand, China has successfully persuaded almost all young Chinese people that Tiananmen Square never happened, so who knows who is the fool…?

Well, there's more Jews in the BNP than you'll find in the British branch of the Nerturi Karta, so why not pay attention to them instead?

If NK want to hang with David Duke in Iran as a break from petrol bomb ing newsagents in Tel Aviv for selling the Jerusalem Post or videos of Toy Story in "their" districts, then I think the conclusions we can draw as to their morality should be fairly straightforward.

My preferred option would be to deprive them of residency in Israel

abu jahl - we heartily welcome our first true Zionist onto our blog.
Hurrah for Israel!
I hope none of our comments have been misconstrued as anti-Zionist?
We just can't understand what all the fuss is about - I mean it clearly states in the Torah that Moses gave these lands (the promised lands) to the Jewish people (the chosen ones) and their descendants.
Please tell your friends in Mossad that we are all firm supporters of the aims of Zionism and we wish you luck in driving all those horrible Muslims into the sea.
